A summer visit to North Berwick should include two things if you are not golfing.
The first is a trip around the Bass Rock, home to 150,000 gannets! To organise a trip couldn’t be simpler pick a day and pick a boat. The oldest tour is on the Sula formerly run by the Marr family and now part of Forth Cruises. The Seabird Centre also offers various trips to suit all ages. The second even if it’s not sunny, is to have an ice cream. Sugar Mountain on the High Street or Gelateria Alandas on Quality Street, take your pick you can’t go wrong.
